Oneida Health and the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center have brought medical oncology and advanced oncology services to Oneida, NY.

The first step to successful treatment, is an accurate diagnosis. Patients are seen by a Roswell Park affiliated medical oncologist in Oneida who can provide consults, visits, and when requested, 2nd opinions, for oncology treatment. Our program is designed to extend the reach and impact of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s expert cancer services through Pathway Care Plans, access to Clinical Trials, and advanced telemedicine technology. Providing patients a comprehensive approach to individual care.
Comfortable and full of natural light, we provide private infusion chairs for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other blood treatment.
Bringing Comfort to Cancer Treatment
Cancer is never comfortable, but here at the Oneida Health Cancer Care, we make every effort to provide our patients with the most comfort possible. It starts with not having to drive across the state (or out of state) for treatment, so you can spend more time doing what you want, and less time traveling.
Infusion Treatments take place in new Private Infusion Suites. Comfortable and full of natural light, we provide private infusion chairs for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other blood treatments. Loved ones are always welcome to visit, and you’ll always have an attentive, friendly staff of care providers whenever you need them.

In partnership with Roswell Park, patients at Oneida Health Cancer Care will have the opportunity to have their diagnosis and treatment plan reviewed by an entire board of physicians who are focused on your individual cancer. This is a concept known as a tumor board, bringing together all the necessary specialists required to ensure that your treatment plan is the right one.
State-of-the-art telemedicine technology allows our Roswell Park-affiliated medical oncologist, as well as other physicians in Oneida, to consult remotely with other Roswell Park physicians and specialists about your best treatment options.
This includes patient to provider remote face-to-face communications, providing you with a comprehensive approach to your individual care. You may only see one physician in Oneida, but your treatment plan can be shared and worked on by a team of experts at Roswell Park in Buffalo.

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has a Clinical Research Center that focuses specifically on the development of new cancer treatments, offering options for patients at every phase of the cancer journey – whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, in remission or facing recurrence.
The Center houses one of the largest Phase I Clinical Trials programs in New York State, which gives patients the opportunity to try new treatment methodologies as early as possible, often offering hope in situations where previous treatments failed.
